“Die Schweizer Banknoten” (Swiss bank notes) in the Gutenberg museum

 

An exhibition in co-operation with the Swiss National Bank.

 

The history of Swiss bank notes. The development of the printing of bank notes, is portrayed, from the first bank note of the Depository Bank in Bern to present day notes. An informative explanation about the production of the present series of bank notes conveys interesting insights into the technical and graphic shaping of these notes.
